Who We Are

Our Story

Yah’s Village is a family-stewarded vision being brought to life through VSL Ventures and the hands of many people who believe in what we are building.

The Prah & Wells family serve as stewards of Yah’s Village, carrying the responsibility of protecting the vision, guiding its development, and helping ensure that what is built today can serve generations to come.

VSL Ventures is the community development and building arm through which the physical vision of Yah’s Village is being developed. Our flagship community, Yah’s Village, reflects our commitment to creating sustainable places where people can live, stay, learn, gather, receive care, grow food, build relationships, and experience community.

It Takes a Village to Build a Village

While the vision is stewarded by the Prah & Wells family, Yah’s Village is not the work of one person, one family, or one team.

It takes many hands.

Builders, tradespeople, contractors, professionals, staff, partners, supporters, residents, and members of the surrounding community all contribute in different ways to bringing Yah’s Village to life.

Some help build. Some serve. Some advise. Some support. Some work behind the scenes. Each contribution becomes part of something much larger.

For that reason, we choose to recognize the people behind Yah’s Village collectively rather than through an individual team roster. As the Village continues to grow, so will the community of people whose hands, talents, resources, and service help make the vision possible.

Building With Purpose

Through VSL Ventures, we are developing more than homes. We are building the residences, infrastructure, facilities, amenities, and systems needed for a community to function sustainably.

Our work includes single-family residences, apartments, short-term accommodations, hospitality spaces, educational and healthcare facilities, recreation, agriculture and food-production systems, renewable energy, water systems, roads, and other essential community infrastructure.

Our residential and hospitality properties are developed as part of this larger community vision and are not offered for individual sale.

At the heart of everything we build are the values of stewardship, integrity, excellence, sustainability, service, and community.

Many hands. One vision. Building a village together.

Yah's Village

A sustainable haven for healthier living.
